The National Commission for Women has submitted an on-site report of Bhagirathi Bhatta's incident to the Home Minister.

A team of officials including the chairperson of the National Commission for Women went and handed over the on-site report of the Baitadi incident to the Hon'ble Home Minister on March 19.

According to the on-site report, a team led by Hon'ble Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Kamala Parajuliju, visited Bhagirathi Bhatta in Baitadi district on January 7 to bring the perpetrators to justice and punish the perpetrators as soon as possible. The report of investigation and on-site monitoring of the incident of murder after rape has been submitted.

A team of the Commission led by Hon'ble Member of the National Commission for Women Shri Krishna Kumari Poudel Khatiwadaju had reached Dogadakedar in Baitadi for on-site study and monitoring.
