National Women Commission (NWC) conducted a national workshop on the status report of the CEDAW implementation report on March 18, Thursday.
Honorable Chairperson and Members from National Dalit Commission, National Indigenous Commission, and National Inclusion Commission; representatives from Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; and representatives from various CSOs along with Nepal Police participated in the program.
Ms. Sumedha Shakya, National Consultant, presented findings on the implementation status of CEDAW Concluding Observations, which was followed by an open floor discussion and feedback collection from the participants.
